The Graduate Student Association (GSA) is now accepting nominations for the annual Faculty Excellence Award. The award will be presented during Hooding and Awards ceremony on Saturday, May 13th at 3pm (Wait Chapel).. To be eligible for this award, faculty members and nominators must meet the following criteria:

- Nominee must be considered a graduate faculty member for at least one academic year.
- Nominee must not have won the award within the last four years.

- Nominators must be current graduate students in good standing at either the Bowman Gray or Reynolda campus

- A student may nominate one faculty member per award year. Students are allowed to repeat nominations from previous years, provided the nominee meets the above criteria.

Your letter of support should address the following topics:

- Classroom teaching

- Time devoted to interaction with students/mentoring

- Outstanding service to the graduate school and/or program

- Commitment to the educational process


Deadline for Nominations: April 29th, 2017 (Saturday) by 5pm
